BigXII adds BYU and stops at 10 to not further dilute the per team share.

SEC adds FSU to have 2, 7 team divisions.

We then go forward and add 1 or 2 members, and see how the rest unfolds.

Agree/Disagree?

By far the best scenario.

BYU is apparently still on the fence.

Agreed, but the identity of the new members is most important. No Cleveland State or Delaware. We need a "name" school, with possibly enlargement plans. Nova???

I really think we should add Boise State. Seriously. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

It would ensure our BCS bid (which I don't believe is really in danger anyways) and it would weaken the Mtn West just in case TCU has a case of buyers remorse.

My second team would be East Carolina. As far as the Non-AQs go on the east coast are the most accomplished and well known school.

Kind of out of the box, but why not change the name of the conference to the Independent League or something like that and just invite the best teams on the board as football only. So basically it will be a conference of football schools who have their olympic sports parked elsewhere (e.g. UConn, RU, UC, USF, UL, UC, WVU - Big East; Army, Navy - Patriot League, UCF, Boise State, BYU - CUSA, MWC, WCC)

If you keep the Big East name, then there might be some hard feelings by schools coming in as football only.
