So how can they play with only 6 players?
I guess 5 out 6 will be the starters?
The University is in a basketball crazy state with an enrollment of 30K. I guessing you can find a couple players who averaged 5-10 points in HS or JUCO who would jump at the chance for a scholarship.

I remember reading about a high school team that had only 5 players, 3 got injured of fouled out and, then, with 2 remaining players won the game in multiple overtimes. So I guess anything is possible.

Reality check right here: " Part of that is getting a quality staff in place and I am confident we are going to do that in the coming days." It ain't my fault folks! I just got betrayed by a lot of losers I hired! Wait a minute, Holly W is calling wit some advice and I sure want to take in what she is saying! Okay, beer and barbeque in the parking lot and thank you so much for being fans of the greatest basketball school- er, one and done thing, er... I did not say that. I am more than the sum of all my parts. The AD said that just an couple of days ago...didn't he. Why am I sweating. Its Kentucky and it's May GD it. Etc, etc, etc.

I feel badly for the players but this couldn't be happening to a better school...............despise their stuck up attitude combined with Calipari's flaunting the one and done............it's no longer college basketball it's a one year training stopover to bump up draft positions.............

Wow things changed fast for Matthew Mitchell. First Night 2015 he doing the Nae Nae and a few months later he trying to replace his entire staff and half his players.

More and more none ESPN salary dependent commentators are admitting that 1 and done has killed men's college basketball and is killing the NBA among the intelligent fans.

As long as you are going to throw shade, Duke has executed the one and done better than Kentucky resulting in more Championships.

Very true...........I have no great love for that team either but Coach K hasn't ever had almost an entire roster full of NBA bound one and done's although he's getting dangerously close next season...................

The only...I mean only... as really only..really, really.... thing keeping Mitchell there now is that he has the goods on too many people there. Men's CBB is a swamp and it provides immunity to a lot of jerks.

Jennings is the sixth women’s basketball player to decide to transfer since the beginning of the 2014-15 academic year and the third player to transfer since the end of the season. Mitchell also dismissed one player, fired one assistant coach and saw two other assistants resign in that span. Two recruits have also decommitted from the program in recent weeks.

What a mess this guy has done to UK
My only question is do we want her and can we get her? As I recall from watching her play she was decent and capable.

No.
Already at 12 scholarships for 17-18. Geno probably only wants 1 at most 2 more, coming from the HS kids still being recruited.
I doubt that someone interested in KY is the kind of player that Geno wants.

That assumes they even care about 'wcbb'.

Although they are a mere afterthought compared to the men's program, I think Kentucky fans care about WBB but only when they're winning

I think uconnfan68 is referring to the administration, not the fans. Some schools make a half-hearted effort to support its women's teams so they don't violate Title IX.

Got ya....................I guess only someone very familiar with the program could answer that one but I would guess my comment applies to them too..........................

I thought you needed to have 6 out there at one time in women's basketball, three in front court and three in back court. Now I see why I've been so confused this year!
You'd better not wear those indecent male shorts--bloomers are the ONLY uniform

7 is what UConn uses to win all their National Championships. I am sure Kentucky can compete with 7 as well.
