As a season ticket holder I just received word from the Connecticut Sun that Anne Donovan has submitted her resignation! Who will be the next coach?

Thought Donovan would get or stay around for another year. The Sun were a playoff team if Chiney was not injured and out for the year. The Sun have a nice roster, but do they really have a Super Star that can make a difference and get them a title. I'm not sure. Looking at the Sun Current Roster, Chiney has the most potential to be a Super Star, but I see her being like her sister Nneka, a good but not great player.

Well, who are the potential candidates to replace her? A WNBA head coaching job is not the same as a WCBB head coaching job. Would a successful college coach give up their position to work in a struggling professional league? Does an ex-player (male or female) take it to prove what they can do? I'm sure there are candidates but I doubt that a tier one college coach would show interest.
