I was watching the ACC network betting show last night and Owen ( I believe) recommended taking the points which he said was 14. They have some respect for Mora.

For me here’s the difference. I went into last years opener hoping we find a way to not be embarrassed and get blown out. This year I’m hoping we can find a way to win. I think it is a tough game but not one where we don’t have a chance.

FWIW, I was at the barber for my pre-game haircut and the mood was upbeat. Folks were talking about UConn a bit. One guy said "You can buy season tickets for 60 bucks? I'm gonna do it."

Hmm, what's strange to me is being negative in a thread about optimism. That's a fun party game.
My larger point, which seems to be missed, is that we're been a bigger underdog before and we won. We won a lot of games last year where experts and even our OWN fans dismissed our chances of winning. It would be nice if that changed, you know?

I didn't dismiss our CHANCES of winning I just said the line is fair and i think we cover. If you interpret that as being negative, that's on you.

I wouldn't be shocked if we pulled off the upset. But I don't have to ignore a ridiculous complaint about the spread when you use a transitive argument while ignoring the head-to-head results.
