This is not a bad article, BUT the last paragraph whereChip Brown states that Texas was rebuffed by the ACC us a joke. When did this happen and why? There athletic revenues are number one by a healthy margin, axademics are excellent and their home market is enormous. w would Texas have ridiculous demands, yes - and guess what, so will ND that the ACC is puesuing. The use of rebuffed is no more than the Big 12's inutial defense against a potential lawsuit. Couple tgis with Neinas's comments today and toy can see there is at least some concern re: a lawsuit.

chip brow said that today on the radio about the acc. its not a joke. its jabs back and forth. the b12 needs to say alot of other things in order to keep it looking like its not there fault the acc is going to die and this hasn't been planned since the fall. syrapitt killed college football.

I believe he said it...but this is clearly Stop. Nobody in the Big12 could reasonably say this so they use chip.

Chip Brown is a mouthpiece of the Texas AD/President. They want people to think the ACC spurned them to place further blame on the ACC for their recent failures. IIRC, it was proven rather definitively (not by Chip Brown) that the ACC was used as a pawn in Texas' negotiations with the PAC.
