Welcome Jon.
We hope you'll love UConn as much as we all did, and still do, AND we hope you'll accomplish as much at UConn as the other Jon Morris did at Holy Cross before he went on to be an AFL All-Star and one of the league's greats. He's also my neighbor and a really nice guy!

One thing is clear from the tape. He doesn't give up on the plays. Very competitive.

Welcome Jon. UConn beat Yale in 2021 by 6. You made the right choice.

Assisted access <-

-> Morris was named to both the 90th New Haven Register All-State Football 2nd Team as a defensive back and the CHSCA Class LL/L All-State team as a defensive back. <-

-> Standing at 6-2, 200 lbs, Morris led Fairfield Prep with 120 total tackles, 37 of which were solo. He helped take the Jesuits to the Class LL state title game at his future home stadium, Rentschler Field. Prep lost to Greenwich in the championship, but may not have even been there without Morris. In the quarterfinal against Staples with three seconds left, Prep led by one point. Morris knocked down a Staples’ pass on the goal line, forcing the Wreckers to attempt a game-winning field goal, which was missed. <-
