For some reason, Livingstone's HUDL has him playing OL. Probably hasn't been updated in awhile. Here's a video of his highlights that was posted 2 weeks ago.

Welcome Kirk!

Based on offers probably our highest rated recruit.

So 23 recruits in the fold with 26 being the presumed limit. I think that means only 3 spots remaining.

How many players come in early that goes against last years total. I am hoping for two or three more so UCONN can add a total of 28 or 29 this year

If we can get 3 in early, then i think we can get to either 28 or 31 and still be ok. We have to assume there will be at least a few more leaving before eligibility is exhausted.

Latest UConn commit "an awesome football player" and "special" kid
http://runwayramblings.blogspot.com/2014/12/latest-uconn-commit-awesome-football.html

>>Livingstone, who had 14 sacks in eight games as a senior, was set to continue his football career at UAB. However, when UAB closed down its football program the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Livingstone was left to go through the college selection process all over again.

"It was tough when he heard the news because he had his heart set on going to UAB," Adams said. "A lot of recruiters stayed away from him because he was solid (in his commitment to UAB). The program decided to go in a different direction and he had to go in a different direction as well.

"I think it (UConn) is the perfect spot for him. Kirk is very smart, he is not just an intelligent football player, he is an intelligent kid. He is A student in the classroom and outside of the classroom, he is just an all-around great person."

Adams said the Livingstone, who also was the starting left offensive tackle as a senior at Stranahan, could have had a sack numbers in the 20s had he only played defense.<<

I hate Diaco's in game coaching as much as the next guy but I love the idea of recruiting these tall, athletic, high character kids even more. I hope Bob shows enough of a pulse as a coach so that he can see these kids develop under him and Balis.

Welcome to UCONN Kirk!

After watching his tape, his speed is pretty doggone good, plus he is a tall player. That will help coming off the ends.

Can't wait to see him get in a college weight room and develop... He looks like he could be scary good coming off the edge and can sometimes play in pass coverage...
