Yale and Quinnipiac with extremely tough draws.

Disagree with Providence getting a home game as a #15 seed. Probably should have swapped Providence and Quinnipiac.

Have a feeling this tournament is going to be the Jack Eichel Invitational.

If you have not seen him play this year, do yourself a favor and watch a BU game. Probably the most dominant player in all of college sports this year.

I'll be going to Providence and the Frozen Four.

Putting the Friars in a virtual home game is a no-brainer attendance wise.

The way the seeding bands shook out, someone was going out west against UND.

The bigger head scratcher is why Harvard got shipped to South Bend over Minnesota, and the only rationale I have is bracket integrity.

Wasn't necessary though, keeping Quinnipiac or Harvard in Providence along with BC would've sufficed attendance there. PC barely draws 2-3K to their own regular season home games.

Yale had a 6% chance of making it after they lost to Harvard in the ECAC playoffs. Unreal.

In fairness, those percentages that were put out there weren't weighted based on probability of outcome. Theoretically, going into this weekend, 4-win Wisconsin had a 16.7% chance of making it. But they did need a very specific set of things to happen that all did. We get them Friday.

I really want to go to Manchester but don't know if that'll happen.

Didn't need to, but given the constraints, I can see why they made the decision they did.

Like I said, keeping Harvard west for bracket integrity is the more questionable call. I suspect there was a hidden "UMN-UMD will make an excellent TV draw" decision at work there.

I would agree. It is what it is.
