This is a prime letdown situation - team convinces themselves they can hang with Boise, thinks they should be able to blow out USF, and lays a complete egg. It will be a great sign for Diaco's motivating abilities if they can come out focused and win this one.

The only reason to run Wildcat is if you want Kamal Abrams to be the backup QB, solely to preserve Boyle's redshirt. Unless Boyle really is completely not ready, I don't think you can realistically go that route. Agree that running maximum clock and shrinking the game is the best option.

As I told the guy at Silva's, $15 to park at a place where kids are getting picked up is completely ridiculous when Aero is $15 as well. I see no reason to ever park there with Aero staying at $15.

Hilarious how easy this is yet Des can't get it. Van Malone appears to have coached at Western Michigan in 2004 with Diaco. Malone is currently the cornerbacks coach at Oklahoma State, who plays tomorrow. Figure Malone is announced as the DC on January 2nd.

I would have been a little disturbed if Diaco hired SOLELY people 40 or younger. It's nice having guys who have been around the block for awhile, as long as you don't let them overrun your team like GDL did.
