Yes she has. The State wrote an article after her matchup with Joyce, in which she stated UConn and SC are the two expressing the most interest. That part isn’t speculation because it came straight from her mouth.

Analysis and Comments - Game 25 - UConn vs South Carolina

Fulwiley is shiftier than Hidalgo and just as fast off the bounce and she got to the basket at will against UConn. Not to mention when she comes into the game UConn’s starters will have played some minutes and will be up against her fresh legs. The way she’s been attacking the rim lately not...

Great news! I think Tessa could be a huge factor on Thursday in more ways than one. https://x.com/mattdowelltv/status/1750241388019532231?s=46&t=1yO9kk6neiFqU3C19aYSYQ

2023-24 South Carolina regular season, Part 2

IMO that’s the best option. Watkins is a very good and versatile defender but she’s not sticking with Paige. Hall on her and Watkins on Edwards will be key for SC. I even like Tessa coming in and defending Paige some. They played against each other in HS and I don’t think Tessa will back down...

2023-24 South Carolina regular season, Part 2

I was thinking starting Watkins or Feagin alongside Kitts and let Hall matchup with Bueckers from tip and play Kitts on Shade. That puts Paopao on Arnold, Raven on Muhl, and either Ashlyn or Sania on Edwards. I’d rather have Watkins protect the paint and give Edwards fits than Bueckers. Paige is...

SC Gamecocks 2023-2024 in season thread

I agree! I hope I’m not reading too much into anything but I felt like Joyce was contemplating where she would fit with this team and how much would she play. I think Sunday showed her where she would fit, that she will definitely get time if she works hard, and that this team is selfless and...

SC Gamecocks 2023-2024 in season thread

I don’t see that. Our guards aren’t tall but they aren’t “small” either. Raven and PaoPao are buff! They won’t get backed down easy and Lay can defend shorter guards with her speed or bigger guards with her athleticism. She defended Citron and Prosper very well (she even had a big time block on...

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

While I can clearly see why Chloe started and Ashlyn got plenty of minutes, Feagin still looked impressive in her minutes she played and can score effortlessly sometimes. I think the trio of those 3 will be very good for us though regardless.

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

The 2027 class will be very good as well. Not just nationally but in SC as well. There will be a couple elite recruits nationally from the state of SC.

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

Just got home from the game. Cardoso will be an First Team All American, Raven will make everyone a fool for not voting her preseason All-SEC, Fulwiley is already in contention for NFOY and Sania Feagin will be one of the most improved players in the country. Team needs to work on FTs badly...

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

Interesting tidbit. I had heard Feagin was knocking down threes but I think this all about confirms it. I know she can handle it but the shot making on the perimeter was the question. This team will be very versatile, fast, athletic and tough to beat.

She’s definitely 5’8” maybe 5’9”- 5’10” in shoes but she’s not small by any means. I’ve seen her play on numerous occasions.

It’s your opinion so I have no choice but to respect it. I think ND will be without Miles, do you think they’ll still be as tough? I thought the matchup was a little even with her playing and healthy but without her SC should have an advantage? Especially down low. You think Duke will be...

@Gamecockfan77 Both of you seem to have some reservations on SC to start the season. Of the Non conference schedule which game(s) do you’ll see SC losing? vs ND (Paris) vs MD vs SD St @ NC @ Duke vs Utah @ ECU vs UConn These are SC’s toughest non conference matchups. I didn’t list the other...

Kennedy Smith still on the board. No love for her? I really like Lee as well but Class of 25’ is chock full of Elite Wings so they could take some next year. I would love to see the coaching staff bring in a class of McDaniel, Tac, Smith, and Edwards. Time will tell.

That’s what great players do but SC and Dawn will adjust just like she’s done before. Stay tuned though and continue to sleep you and everyone else doubting is going to be surprised..

    Non-UConn recruiting thread

Lay to me is a combo guard and will likely play more off the ball as a SG than PG at SC. I don’t think people understand how good Tessa will be. She was giving Paige Buckets a run for her money as a freshman in HS. I think She, Lay and Breezy will be ahead in the pecking order of any guard who...

https://x.com/dawnstaley/status/1700545355627245967?s=46&t=1yO9kk6neiFqU3C19aYSYQ Seems like Coach is experimenting with lineups in practice. Looks like Paopao, Lay, Feagin, Ash, and Kima on the court during a play. I think we’ll see a lot of lineups like this with different people mixed in. I...

My inference of Chloe’s position didn’t just come out of thin air. She herself said she anticipates playing on the perimeter more this year and she’s been working out with the guards since she join the team last December. Some of you are going off what position she played in the U19 but that’s...

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

I was thinking more like in a pinch. Like if any guards got into foul trouble or we needed to go big. I think it’s enough ball handlers to where she doesn’t have to be a primary and her handle is good enough where she can bring it up the floor——but like you I’m in agreement on her high handle. I...

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

I think this means Chloe will spend more time in the backcourt than front. Her rebounding from the 3 or 2 could be huge. https://x.com/gamecockwbb/status/1696554048755765538?s=46&t=1yO9kk6neiFqU3C19aYSYQ

    SC Gamecocks off-season, Part 2

Chloe and Ashlyn are X factors. If we’re as good as I imagine we’ll be at the 3/4 positions then this team could be scary good. Not 36-1 but definitely 3-4 losses at minimum maybe less! No other team can match the athleticism and skill of Hall/Feagin/Kitts/Watkins. That will be the deal breaker...

I was never a fan of HS level kids going straight to the WNBA, even if they’re playing professionally in their countries. I feel like NCAA would prepare them much better for the level of competition than international play. Sika Kone for example is a killer for Mali and had a fantastic season...

She’s a professional but I don’t think she’s getting paid so she can definitely be recruited and I’m sure some coaches have reached out I just hope Dawn was one of them. Her teammate Carla Brito played against us at USF in the tournament and Jose loves international kids so I’m sure he’s...

Honestly I think SC needs to snag Joyce and then try recruiting one of Awa Fam 6’4” from Spain or Dominique Malonga 6’6” from France. Both have A TON of upside. Fam played in the U19 against Kitts and Malonga would’ve been there as well but she’s was returning from injury. What do y’all think...
