No I saw it also! One where she tripped Dangerfield and the refs missed it and the other was the swat back at Crystal. Which once the damn announcers stopped talking you could see it in the replay
A question (or questions): Is there a list showing who was in the draft? How many actually declare and don't get "drafted". Though I know some will get camp invites. Why only invite 10 to the party and not 12 if that's how many go in first round? Just thoughts I had while watching last night.
Neither does this New Yorker that's why i'm tired of hearing about it. Just clicked on a media link with Kia and poor kid yet again explaining how they handled the loss last year. Go Huskies!!! Let's hope Kia has her bun stlye hair do!!
For goodness sake is anyone else tired of hearing and reading about last year's loss. I can only imagine what the players are thinking. I know it goes with the territory for the players and coaches and as always handle it with grace. Every time I click on a media link there is a question...
It wasn't an intentional bump, one of those caught her as she ran by her. Marina flopped for the foul (which she didn't get) and fell back over Young. The ref's reviewed it and nothing became of it.
UCONN's defense can be exhausting causing frustration and missed shots by opponents and has also gotten much better as the season went along. Z has gotten better and even Megan can give a few minutes to give someone else a breather. The girls are on a mission. I think they beat ND by 25!
And another thing. I’m still baffled at how UCONN lost to MS last year. I do know but still haven’t digested that loss. Yes I know I need to let it go.
Her stats don’t impress me.. NC not making shots. Going right past McGowan and shots not being made.. She’s out by perimeter and NC goes to hoop and miss shots.
NC St could be ahead if they were a tad patience. They have pulled TM away from the basket many times and can’t make a shot! MS not impressive, they are playing a team that doesn’t know any better Head bang
I was thinking the same thing about the hair! Funny how you get used to seeing them wearing the same style and they change for a game. I move closer to the TV to make sure it's the same player!
Being NPOY with all the other accolades earned at the HS level IMO means nothing once you get to college. Chances are you didn't have to play a lick of defense depending on what HS you went to. Your HS coach wanted to win and the best player got the ball in their hands all the time. And Mom...
I wonder if it's one of those things where the freshmen think because they are playing in a conference game where UCONN dominates that they don't have to play at a high level and in turn get beat because they aren't playing hard all the time. Seems they do well in high pressure games. I...
Had she not picked up those quick fouls she may have been out there longer. There's no denying her offense but she does get burned on defense at times and you see how fast (not so much last night or Z but in general) the points add up on weak defense. Just like anyone else it will take her some...
She was everywhere last night. Never waivered, showed great maturity and confidence!
Good lord when she took that charge from Aja Wilson Head bang I couldn't believe she got up after that!!!
All 5 starters!! While 4 were hot on offense the other one was running the show and playing great defense. It was spectacular how that got the win, constant ball moving, great passing and defense. You see some games that are blow outs and are boring this game was exciting right down to the end. :)
Great game by UCONN. There were few eh moments. Lots of BS calls. Were refs trying to avoid a repeat of the SC/Mizz game?? Uconn too Disciplined to allow that to happen. I think Kia had good control twice where she tangled with the S.C. player (couldn’t see her number, Jennings maybe).
I’m kind...
