Does anyone know of where to find any information if there are watch parties for the tournament(s) in New Hampshire (Manchester, Concord, or Portsmouth areas?)
If not, does anyone know of UConn bars in the area?
I'll admit, I'm a bit worried about Clingan. His defensive value is without question (even if it doesn't show up in the stats). But he had a really rough game offensively. He's going to get hacked to death around the bucket and he just needs to work on playing through it all. I felt like his...
Newton may get invited to the G-League, but I suspect he can have a fairly productive career in Europe.
Regarding Strus...he's an anomaly. Most undrafted players are undrafted for a reason and don't make NBA rosters let alone become a significant piece of those rosters. If that's what Newton...
I'm in dire need of new UConn swag, especially men's tees. I loathe the Fanatics shop (I bought one that said "true to size" which couldn't have been farther from the truth.) And the last time I bought via 3rd party, my CC number was stolen.
So, where do we find good UConn gear online these days?
There's a huge difference between UW-Stevens Point and UConn. UW-Stevens Point, as described by one of my Wisconsin friends, is one step away from a technical community college. Its existence is primarily to educate a workforce. UConn is a research and liberal arts institution. Who knows...
But it's all a matter of perspective. Only 27% of graduates have a career related to their major. Frankly, the idea that social science majors are few and very low pay is just a matter of perspective. If you want to pigeonhole majors into specific careers then yeah, you're going to find data...
I don't think UConn being in the AAC is hurting the program. It's not helping, but I don't think it's hurting the basketball program. This is a different story re: UConn football, but frankly, as much as I love college football, I don't care about that.
Yeah, keep telling that to yourself to validate your stupid argument. Cincy has clearly demonstrated that a Top 5 team could come from the AAC. There's absolutely no reason why UConn could not be in the same position.
Heck yeah I would. Come on, let's be real. Shaka Smart is a great coach. He just made the poor decision to go to a school that is always FB first and was in an area where he doesn't have as strong recruiting roots.
I absolutely think Ollie is going to be an NBA assistant. It fits his style of coaching better. I do wish him the best, but I for one am ready for a change.
Not to mention that I remember too many games that ended just like this one when Edsall was that the helm. It's actually super weird. I used to get upset at these kinds of loses...but now it feels like home?
Well, my dad talked me into going. We're leaving Christmas in the evening from BOS and taking a flight to Orlando and driving to St. Pete from there. Flights were much less expensive than flying to Tampa.
