Wow, 11 pages for a blowout! Obviously the BY was itching to get started with game threads. How long will the Baylor thread be?

I am lucky enough to get SNY on Direct TV. II' curious about how many people signed up for streaming. If enough of them make a stink, they may add content...they might not realize the depth fans have for "Our Girls."

If it was 6,200 for a game that was sure to be a blowout, that really isn't too shabby. Money is tight for a lot of people, and will be more choosy about which games they attend.

I haven't heard any attendance figure, but it sure looked sparse. BTW, I'd let students in FREE to fill the student section, and reduced ticket prices for any other students who want to attend.

There's a BIG difference between 3-4 three-minute commercials in a half hour post-game show and sitting through 20-25 minutes of pledge drive to get to a two minute interview. Their record on CPTV, but mainly because they got a lot of cupcake teams. I'm thankful to all of CPTV's efforts, but...

With two hours, it would have been nice to have more in-depth interviews, especially with the new girls. But as someone mentioned above, it was fun to see the practice, though.

I think we should wait to see a few games on SNY, but I do like the fact that they will have a half hour pregame show and a half hour post-game show...it was aggravating to sit through 25 minutes of begging before showing a 1-2 minute interview

I live in Torrington, never lost power, although according to the paper, 31 % of Torrington was out of power. No power in much of Falls Village, but we have a giant generator where I work. Pray for those in New Jersey, New York, and the Connecticut shore, as well as all affected by the storm.

Hard to argue with anyone on your list, clpedaler. The problem is there have been MANY more than 10 really tough UConn players.

I was lucky enough to be at that game, and was about twenty feet away from Morgan's screen ( I'd call it a pick, but what do I know?). After the game, I told her that it was the "greatest...pick...ever." That poor Pepperdine girl went down like a ton of bricks, but luckily she was all right.

But women DON'T compete with the men...they compete against other women. I read a quote from Doug Bruno that he actually played around with changing the rim heights, years ago. I like the fact that Geno cares enough about the women's game to speak out with his opinions and generate discussion.

I thought it was an interesting article. Geno has ideas and he isn't shy about sharing them. At first his ideas may seem a little radical, but the more you think about them, the more sense they make.

Do the orange kool-ade drinkers really think it matters where we play Prairie View A&M or KState??? These games promised to be so lopsided that even UConn fans stayed away in droves...

Pretty sure it couldn't be in Hartford, since we play home games there...of course, this might just be a conspiracy to HAVE to move UConn someplace else, far, far away. Bridgeport would make the most sense for us.

I had to work late, or I may have gone...but they pretty much lost me when they mixed the men and the women, and then did away with the scrimmages. As far as SNY goes, I can see them NOT televising this non-sporting event, but I was hoping that they'd show the two preseason games...

I get a "blACKEED OUT' MESSAGE ON NBA-tv and WBNA obline. Any alternatives? Getting blacked out on NBATV AND on MSG+ Jeez, I already paid NBATV the princely sum 0f $4.95!!!

An obviously Photoshop fake...they're looking for money, of course they are going to do the heart-strings thing. In actual fact, polar bear populations are increasing.

Man, I loved to watch Big Red run...never followed the Sport of Kings that closely before or after Secretariat, but talk about Must See TV!!! I think I'll be sad when Secretariat's record(s) fall, but I suppose they might some day.
