Another reason to put in new windows is they may be easier to clean like the tilt-in ones. Insulation improvement may be both reducing heat loss and reducing noise if you are close to traffic noise.
It’s going to be really hard to replace Newton. Offense when you absolutely needed it, his rebounding, his driving to the hoop and ability to get to the line, his 6’5 height, and his defensive quickness were so important these last two years
I don't disagree, but who would teach him a better technique? One of the current coaches? Is it allowed to get a shooting expert to help him? On campus are some great shooters too who happen to be women- how about Azzi or Paige?
Pink has a great voice, it does resemble Janis' voice, but I like Janis' voice better still. I think Janis' voice has a wider range, and in Me & Bobby McGee that range is more fully shown- from gritty/raspy to sweet melodic- at least for me, it just is displayed better. But one huge advantage...
He definitely looks like he can shoot, and I'd love to give him a chance. I assume he too knows the opportunity is there, and whatever it is he needs to improve to become more than a bench guy, that he hopefully tries to get there.
The offense really is beautiful. I watched the 2nd half again and was amazed at how many times UConn got layups or drove into the paint even if 7'4 Edey was there. The weaving in and out of so many players going to the basket or out again to 3 point territory was hard to watch without getting...
Donovan at some point will have to say what his intentions are to Hurley, so Dan will know who to recruit etc. We'll find out soon enough if this is true or not.
Not sure why centers are the exception, but they seem to have the right to use their bulk and just push back anyone in their way. At times it looks like a Sumo match. If a guard were backing down the person guarding him and he knocked someone backwards, they would or should be called for a...
He was better than I expected, much more active too, especially in the first half. He isn't a lumbering 7'4 stiff. Even so, UConn still won, but I just wanted to congratulate him for a great game.
You really need all of it blocked- when it was happening, while there was still a bit of sun not blocked, it was light outside. Same thing when moon moved to unhide the sun, the smallest amount of sun reappearing caused the artificial night to end
Full eclipse happened/ oh my God! It was night outside- completely blocked! Last part that got covered was rim from 11 to 1 o’clock- there was the thinnest white glow surrounding a perfect black circle of moon. The light emerged again, the first return light came from around 5 o’clock and it...
Heading up I-91 now to Newport VT- traffic on highway is heavier than usual. First plans were to go to Burlington, VT, but forecast has clouds arriving there around 1 pm. Newport is supposed to be sunny until 5 pm. Temps expected to be 55 up there.
100 x yes! Keeps players happy, they all develop more, results in less fatigue, encourages future recruits to consider UConn because they won't be stuck on the bench
A deep team- I hope UConn will start playing more than just 6-7 players a game, and give some real time to the nonstarters not just at end of game. Let everyone develop and contribute!
Geno made some comment that she may not have been 100% yet, as did person who plays in the pros (can’t think of name). Let her get back up to 100%, throw in Azzi and Sarah and Alli Z and Jana and Aubrey and Ice and KK and Caroline and Q and Morgan and Ash (who else?)- a very potent scoring team!
