I mean, it's a totally true statement to say JMU has been the best major sports team in VA the last couple years
Football, bball and even baseball and soccer they've been very good
Agree how ridiculous it is folks keep saying that. It's like sending an email on Friday afternoon and complaining that it took 3 days to get a response on Monday...I mean, technically it's true, but context is important
Funny hearing that question now after all the arguments last year about how he wasn't a pg and Hurley was running an offense with no pg...o how far we've come
It's weird because in the general mill run of the game I get a little nervous as he can get a little lackadaisical with passing and handling the ball. Seems like he just knows he's on another level and gets almost bored...but as soon as he locks in for winning time it's game over and he just...
Again...reading comprehension.
He says...
Cam = never had an offensive player like him (implying "unique" not "best")
Tristen = alongside our handful or so very best players
Nowhere does he say cam is one of our best ever...but frankly it still wouldn't be nearly as absurd as you make it...
You don't have a lot of posts, so I did check...and you certainly have been saying it....like A LOT. Like you're afraid we'll forget you said it, or you've got a bet you're worried you might not cash in on if it's not acknowledged. So here I am acknowledging it
Ive been on here 20yrs now and that's the probably the most clear and succinct I've ever seen it spelled out...what was 2004? I think I'd just joined the scout board I think it was at the time, and wasn't in the loop quite yet
1999 - dukie 5
2004 - ?
2011 - winning
2014 - senhor
2023 - nerds...
I'll preface this by saying I'm no MakersMuppet and I'm generally bad a writing stuff, but I do have the occasional not dumb ideas...
Exhibit A - I'm taking credit for last year's nerdy mojo
I think I also figured out the key this year to whatever it is that we have now with our prodigal...
Pretty accurate. I'd say most folks I met down there (lived in Chapel Hill for ~7 years) who were Duke fans weren't from NC. People who were from NC were all about UNC or state, and the joke was always that the difference between UNC fans and NCST fans was that state fans actually went to...
It worked out ok. I had a blast working there - probably one of the coolest things I could do with an engineering degree - and then landed a good gig pretty quick after things went south.
RIP Guerrilla Gravity
Started riding again last year after a long hiatus since I was working for a MTB company and everyone there rode and had spare bikes for me to mooch. Then the company went under this past fall and my riding will likely drop significantly...granted it's CO so I'm snowboarding now anyways
good, yes...that good, probably not
Also, how do NET rankings make any sense at all???
we actually dropped after picking up an additional 2 Q1 wins last week, while Auburn still has checks notes 0...
Didn't watch the game and no idea if he made contact or not, but just watching that clip, anyone that thinks that elbow swinging back was a natural movement is delusional
He was considered the 50th best player in college bball prior to the season by a major publication... certainly not off the radar
CBS top 100 players for 2023
This thread is certainly deserved but also a little odd...you're all gushing about the reigning MVP of the NC game like he was some underappreciated scrub
