In case all the responses from people who are divorced or trapped in loveless marriages aren't helpful, I'd say DVR it, put your cell in another room, and kick the guests out after dessert.
PSA did close completely last spring and the bball program transferred to Woodstock Academy along with coach Espinosa. Then the Chinese investors came along, reopened PSA, and brought/bought back Espinosa. Under Armour sponsorship followed. Despite appearances, they're doing plenty well financially.
And what about Diallo's direct quote makes you think he's reclassing? The "I'm not totally sure" or the "I'm leaning toward 2017"?
Thanks for the insight, 99. Most of us appreciate it.
Agreed. While an incredibly gifted athlete, he's still a bit raw. Would definitely benefit from another year of developing his game before jumping to the next level. He plays with tremendous passion, but also has a tendency to let the opposition get in his head. Another year at PSA should also...
Potentially of note (but hopefully not), UA officially sponsors Putnam Science Academy as of this year. If you recall, PSA shut down last year and transferred their postgrad basketball program to Woodstock Academy. About 2 months later Chinese investors bought PSA and gave Coach Espinosa a hefty...
At the season tip-off for Putnam Science Academy. Besides Diarra, Diallo, and Ohams who should I be keeping an eye out for? Any other D1-level talent or guys on UConn's radar?
Notes: Diarra rocking a UConn shirt under his jersey. Diallo and Diarra attached at the hip. This gym is tiny...
It's Southwest, there are no seat assignments or first class. But we definitely should've sprung for that $25 Early Bird check-in so he could board with Group A.
I literally cannot stop laughing. All that time spent reading into the second part of his tweet when the answer was right there in the first part. Who woulda thunk it?
The "had a great time" could, however, indicate that he enjoyed himself. Maybe even that he had a great time. But maybe that's reading too much into it.
Nice fluff piece but probably worth mentioning Andre Drummond. Sure, he only spent one season in Storrs but gotta think his name carries the most weight of the bunch with 17-year-olds.
Also, the "unbiased" in the subtitle is definitely tongue-in-cheek.
Listen to the full segment for a gem by DP at the very end. Cal says "I said 'no' and now I'll say 'nein' how about that?" and DP responds with "Don't go nein(9)-deep next year, go 7-deep and maybe you'll win a championship."
