If this is as good as it will ever get as a husky fan good god is it good. Cooley was right, at least about the spoiled part. What an unbelievable two year run. I love this program.

How bad do you want this one compared to the others?

Bad. Real bad. 6 championships cements us. Back to back championships etches us into rare lore. And this team can do it. ONE MORE!!

I had a dream last night that Uconn won it all

It’s a beautiful night to be a Husky. Love this team. Love this coach. Love this run. All the BS our school and program has gone through the last decade with conference realignment, coaching issues, and whatever else…well we came out the other side. Couldn’t be more proud of this program.

    Barstool Court Storm

I am sorry you had to witness an older woman leaning over to the side. Absolutely brutal scene.

    Late arriving fans

I was in my seat by tip but I plan on getting to the next game 31 minutes early so I can passive aggressively call you a late arriving fan. ;)

    Late arriving fans

The security logjams remain a problem. When you only have two entrances open for 15k+ people there’s no way to get the rush of people in for tip.

    Beer

Little late to this question, but Von Trapp's aptly named "Bohemian Pilsner" is my go to pilsner. Von Trap's distributing has made it as far west as Pennsylvania currently, so maybe in 10-15 more years you can grab a 6 pack out there.

Best Bacon Egg + Cheese in CT?

Lebanon Green Store was my BECGOAT. Decades and decades and decades of bacon grease on that griddle before their unexpected closing.

    OT: Philly for a weekend

For nightlife check out Fishtown/Northern Liberties just north of Old City. Corner of Frankford & Girard is a fun spot with Joe's Steaks, Garage, Johnny Brenda's, and my favorite bar Frankford Hall. The Piazza is also over in that area which can be fun if an event is going on. For lunch -...

    OT: Youtube tv

Any one know if Youtube TV has any plans to offer Redzone? I've been using Sling with the additional sports package for the past 4 years, but it does not offer SNY or CBSSN.

    Cool, local anniversary getaway ideas...

Ogunquit, ME has been my go to weekend get away the last few years. Handful of great restaurants, completely walk-able, and lots of shops for wife.

OT: Does anyone live in Downtown Hartford?

I’ve lived at the lofts at main and temple and 55 on the Park. I enjoyed my time downtown but have since moved out of the city. The Lofts are beautiful and I would recommend to anyone considering living downtown to take a look. It also includes garage parking.

    Beer

It's worth the trip. It's a gorgeous brewery that was converted from an old barn. They constantly have 5 or more different styles of beer available, which is a nice change considering the apparent never ending IPA craze. The owner studied his craft in Belgium and the second brewer recently...

Some Guy: UConn close to signing Hurley

My wife works at the school. Nuggets get passed along from people that are fairly important. Historically, info probably in the 70% correct range. In regards to Goodman's tweet - she was told this morning there is a Plan B lined up...and a Plan C if Plan B falls apart. No one wants Plan C to...

    Beer

Jon's a good brewer and I really liked his stuff at Steady Habit before the owners poisoned that place. Coalesce was one of my favorite beers a few years back. I'll be checking out Parable.

If you are in to the NEIPA craze, check out Lone Pine and grab their Oh-J. It is the juiciest NEIPA I have come across. I grabbed a couple cans after tasting on that batch's release date. I thought it was great at the brewery, but insanely good between 2-3 weeks. Across the street is Urban...

Hop Culture Farms & Brewing Co Fox Farm Brewery in Salem is doing a similar operation already, and doing it well. EDIT: FF is probably not growing hops at the same capacity as this place now that I looked at their Facebook site again.

Should we scale back the hurry up offense?

While sloppy, last night's offense was at least an attempt at a modern scheme. The team and coaches will eventually find a tempo that they like and works for the team. It will also help if the QB makes better decisions on the read option. I felt like we got stymied all night when the option...

    Beer

Anyone made it out to Fox Farm Brewery in Salem yet? It's been open about 5 weeks. They pumped serious money into this place. The tasting room is gorgeous and on a nice private plot of land that you can enjoy with picnic tables outside. The beer is way above average. Every variation of...

    Ollie/ Benedict

I'm mostly concerned about the APR implications. If the public statement simply says all departing players have completed their spring course loads with the required grades to not lose the retention point, that would be good enough for me.

    Beer

I scored two crowlers from Fat Orange Cat last night from a package store in Marlborough. I drank one which was a 7.6 ABV New England IPA called Consensus. Darn good. Looking forward to checking out their brewery in East Hampton this year. I have a coworker who has been talking this place up...
