    Sean Miller on UConn's dominance

Everyone here can be so black and white. Two things can be true about Miller at the same time. Much like Calimari is a 2-way street, great recruiter, not so good at game planning (Not saying Miller has these traits).

    Ballo to Indiana

the deep pocket donors have some serious cash available for their schools. 1-2-3 million is always available. A business they own may suffer, depending on the industry, but their 100’s of millions are sitting in t-bills or equivalent. A school as large as Indiana should have access to quite a...

Wild Dreams: The BE Could Kill the ACC

    The transfer portal opens today

That’s why Hurley and staff’s approach is head and shoulders above the competition. Culture, roster construction, fit, and proper nil allocations are the winning formula.

Sanogo Gets His First NBA Double Double

    I’d like to think he had a triple double. 10 O rebounds, 10 D rebounds, 22 points. His plus/minus was +11 also.

    2024 Recruiting: Tarris Reed Jr.

Clingan has a nice but inconsistent free throw technique. He can shoot flat which imo accounts for the majority of his misses. I think he will be a decent three point shooter for a guy his size/position.

Hawk was 38% on volume and he delivered in key moments. I would expect Hansen to be more like Joey C.

    2024 Recruiting: Liam McNeeley

I believe Luke deserves a lot of the credit for technical strategy.

    Hurley's Cam shove

    Purdue’s defense

I remember Calhoun saying in 1999 that he was watching Duke games and taking notes for months, just in case. In that game doubling Brand worked out great.

    Cam is a legend

And his defense improved dramatically over the course of the year. You know he put the time in, and then some. Damn, I wish we had him for 4/5 years. I hope he makes some money and has fun, then comes back to join the staff.

    NCAA Title Count

I think 1985 is the best cutoff too. Another option is 1986 with the implementation of the 3 point line which has had a significant impact on overall game strategy. Ironically, gone are the days of 2 slow bigs sitting down low, it was boring. It also led to banning dunks for a few years...

How did you become a UConn fan?

Born and raised in The Hollow in Bridgeport in the 60s and 70s. I grew tired of the home grown talent leaving and I started rooting for the Huskies. I was pumped when Corny, McKay, committed.
