I'd love to see Solo take over for Hass as the spark off the bench. I feel like Hass's knowledge of the system in year 3 will be critical in establishing our offense with an almost new team and so it will be critical to have him on the court as a starter.
One of my favorite things about college basketball is witnessing the in-season growth of the individuals and the team. I expect a lot of growing pains over the next 2-3 seasons. I could be wrong about that, but if I'm right, the rebuild will be very fun to watch. It's always going to be scary as...
If you want to see what it would look like, just rewatch last season. Sometimes I swear I was watching Rip as Jordan was running circles around everyone on the court.
It's not even fun anymore. We've lapped the fruit so many times that their fanbase has pretty much conceded at this point. It was more fun when they were "wishfully thinking" that they were still better than us. Now they fully admit it and it's tough to pile on. Now the puke fans, that's a...
Hader, Wiig, and Suedeikis were the last of the funny. Surprised Keenan Thompson is still there, but he might be on the shortlist to succeed Lorne Michaels. Probably be Tina Fey
The women's side has it right. Play the final on a Sunday. For that matter, Superbowl should be on a saturday, women's final should be on a saturday, and the men's final should be on a sunday. And Halloween should always be the last Saturday of October.
If Edey plays the full 40 on Monday, he’ll have to chase Samson around when DC comes off the court. The 2 headed monster will be something Edey hasn’t seen in his entire career. I just made that up but it’s probably true.
I expect the staff to reload with top tier transfers, but to think there’s another Cam or TN out there would be wishful thinking. Those guys are uncommon.
One thing that will help is roster continuity. If he can still fill the roster out with the right players, having guys like AK and Hassan will help Hurley and co build upon what they’ve already established while everyone else is still trying to wrap their heads around our concepts. If Luke is...
Parrish really hung his hat on the NET all season and put Purdue on a pedestal. He basically refused to believe his eyes. Goodman is an idiot. I'll bet the other journalists roll their eyes when he opens his mouth at a press conference.
What Gino has done with this year’s team is nothing short of impressive. 7 rotation players including 3 or 4 freshmen, 3 players playing a full 40 over and over again….and still having enough in the tank to get to a final 4. There’s a grit and determination that is unique to Storrs.
