The first question is when will the coaches make an offer. The second one is when will the recruits make a decision. It's not like the WNBA draft where a team picks the best fit or the best available player, and then the player is more or less obligated to show up.

The big question for me is whether Beers is following any of them back, or for that matter if other teams are following/followed by her.

Does the Do Not Contact tag apply to students at other schools? Or for that matter, does it apply to social media follows by the coaching staff? I would think it applies to direct calls and texts, but beyond that I'm not clear on the rules.

True, but Dorka didn't come from a team that suddenly found itself essentially homeless. I really feel for the OSU team and fans, they must be feeling about how UConn fans did when we ended up in the AAC.

So we're thinking that Beers might go from the late lamented Pac-12 to the BE? I don't mean to be negative, but it seems more logical for her to transfer to one of the P4 conferences. I don't want to get my hopes up. I really hate what conference realignment has done to WBB over the years.

And if we once again have 5 season ending injuries? Or just a couple, but all at the same position? Or a couple of newbies who don't pan out? Or a couple of players who don't recover from injuries as thoroughly or as quickly as we hope? Having 15 players as opposed to 13 doesn't eliminate those...

Unfortunately, just like this past season, by the time we know we have holes that need plugging (through injuries, failure to develop or whatever), it will be too late to plug those holes. The calendar doesn't work that way.

So sorry to see her go. I really liked her personality and demeanor on the bench (same for Amari).

Syracuse is also reasonably close to Rochester, home to NTID (National Technical Institute for the Deaf) where she could continue/make use of her ASL studies.

There's Emily, there's also reportedly been some interest with Kaitlyn Chen out of Princeton. Or Geno may be looking for an experienced big. I'm sure the coaching staff has a better handle on our needs next year than we do.

I wish the refs could review the replay to overturn or reverse a foul. My understanding is that currently they can review replays only to determine whether or not a foul should be upgraded to a flagrant.

I could see her stepping into Aubrey's role as defensive stopper (and rebounder) off the bench. She's capable of providing that same spark of energy that Aubrey does. I'm sure the coaching staff has plans for what they want Q to work on over the summer.

They look like they'd be great for traveling, easy to slip on and off going thru airport security.

How about Aaliyah and Nika getting drafted by Lynx or Sun (or possibly Mystics), and both making their team.

And future honorees will be on the same wall as Aaliyah. What an honor for them.

When Tuck came back it was with a national championship, and the wall ceremony was part of that celebration. Unless we come home with the trophy (and I'm still hoping we do) Aaliyah's ceremony probably won't be till sometime next season.
