I went to UMASS and saw Dr J too! At games, (so fun!) and in my dorm- he went out with a lady who lived on my floor. Great memories

I remember Jill Gelfenbien in the early 90’s- she was the goalie on the womens’ soccer team and tried out for basketball and made it. One time she must have had brain freeze and she dropkicked the basketball almost out of the gym.

I remember back aways when tickets were hard to come by and the XL center sold out routinely, some incredible games at the XL with deafening noise and atmosphere! 16,000 plus rocking the arena!

You nailed it! I completely agree. I enjoyed the game and was delighted by the win. All those who want the comfort of a 30 point win of pretty basketball- those days are gone. There are so many more good players spread out around the country and better coaches.

I didn’t recognize Rebecca’s voice at first- I had to look twice. I also noted that her commentary had more depth a few times.

I remember that as well. I also remember how she treated Rebecca as the Olympic coach. Not a good look. But no one seems to hold any grudges so...
