Out of all the things I have read on here- that one might be the most absurd thing I have ever read. That might even extend to everything not on the boneyard as well.
This is still a narrative around here? We need offensive coach and we don’t run an offense?
We are a top 20 offense in Kenpom
Top 25 in ppg in the country
If you watch the game - there is constant motion and sets being run. People need to not just repeat the same stuff the people who don’t...
Right - no way playing 3 games in 3 days (two against top 5 kenpom defenses) will effect shooting percentages. Couldn’t be.
Now I do think we are somewhere in between what we showed shooting in the first few games and the last couple but we shot well against high caliber opponent in auburn...
Looks like there are just different qualifying numbers. The NCAA website has a higher qualifying metric.
ESPN has guys on their list that shot 30-40 attempts. Not exactly a large sample size.
I tend to agree that 35% or better is a good shooter at decent volume.
You realize it's easier to develop in the NBA......you have the opportunity to focus on only basketball, no restrictions - better coaching and facilities.
Plus you get paid to do it.
A drop in conference alignment would directly correlate with recruiting.
Your comment ignores the fact he always had the most highly regarded recruits on the roster (top 100) in the AAC in the first few years and would finish in the basement. He either couldn’t develop or couldn’t coach. Two of...
What do you call Ollie get pummeled by Tulsa and SMU by 20 4x a year and losing to Wagner and Northeastern. Doesn’t seem like switching from man to zone helped in those games.
Come on man enough of this.....I know you love Ollie. But NBA success has literally zero to do with winning national championships. If it did, Duke and Kentucky would be playing each other every year in the finals.
I’m sure a lineup of matthews kisunas MAL, Whaley Polley and Carleton would have...
This- there’s only one way to be cheering tonight. And it’s not because we lost to Creighton or they are new guard or any of that. Gtown is so close to adding a lot of value to our resume and can be the difference between and 8/9 and a 7
Agree - think we should be rooting for USC and Mizzou. Think UCLA and LSU could jump us with wins. Both are very close to us and will get another quad 1 win if they win. We don’t have a quad 1 opportunity today. USC winning doesn’t necessarily help us because it will be a quad 1 win regardless...
Lundari has been my go to in terms of checking where we stand on the bubble.....but my god. Minnesota loses to NW at home and they drop 1 spot. Some how Indiana is still above us being 7-9 and in conference and 12-11 overall.
I can't believe how bad the big 10 is overrated.
Like I said he hadn’t played division 1 basketball in over a year....jumped up a level in play and didn’t have an offseason. Of course he would take sometime getting in the groove. And all those who say Hurley isn’t getting it done (multiple threads) ....can’t we looking at his moving Cole to...
But wait people on this website told me Cole wasn’t any good a few weeks ago and his minutes should go to Gaff. Are you telling me a guy that didn’t play last year and jumped up in level of competition and had no off-season needed some time to get up to speed?
Weird that before the game yesterday...Lunardi has “win and in” on his little summary and then we won and we still aren’t in. Was he just assuming a bubble team would lose.
Nothing is stopping Kyrie from “giving it all up” for the cause.
I applaud him for trying to get more voices heard. But I believe the NBA is not forcing players to go. If you don’t want to play.....don’t play. Forfeit the remaining salary. Maybe the NBA can donate the money to certain causes...
Carleton was 4-12 with 5 TOs against X and bouk had 19.
Florida isn’t nearly as good as they were billed to be. Also not like Carleton is the reason we won that game. Had 13 on 5-10 but also 4 TOs.
If you think the offense should run through Carleton then I don’t even know what to tell you
This. Imagine dominating something for your entire life. Getting all the accolades. All American, full ride to a top division 1 school. Seemingly on an upward trajectory, and then to maybe have injuries take that away. Or just coming to the realization that you can’t do it at the level you...
Polley is our best shooter, and Vital is probably are second best shooter.
Vital is also our best perimeter defender and possibly our best rebounder regardless of size.
It's fun to actually have depth again.
