Well Nan, I had dropped the subject. But since you brought it back up. I made a large part of my living breaking down film and video in usaf and civilian life, and have awards to show for it. Williams has neither squared her body or both feet, and Saniya was driving to the basket and released...
My question is not about the clock. The question was whether or not a foul was committed. Why do we keep going back to whether or not she started too soon ? So are you now telling me that fouls shouldn't be called with 1 second on the shot clock too ?
I certainly appreciate this quote, which I heard already. My question has always been about why the time on the clock should have anything tondo with it ?
Sorry, but I am confused by your reasoning. Is it a no call because there was no contact , or because in your estimation the play happened too soon ? I was just asking for that clarification.
Agreed, but Saniya had control of the ball and was driving toward the basket. I thought you couldn't impede a players motion ? I would love technical clarification.
I understand what you are saying. So by that reasoning, I guess, the rulebook should have a different set of rules for games under " say " the 2 minute mark ? Let me just say, I am not upset about losing. JUST THE CIRCUMSTANCE. Great season by a bunch of great ladies !
Exactly TonyC. The fact that noone even wants to address the no call amazes me most. But, the upset is the better story, I guess, plus the fact eveyone is sick of uconn.
Sorry, the defensive player interfered with the progression of a player in control of the ball driving to the rim. The defensive player was not established ! Contact causes both player to the floor and ball to go out of bounds. Got to be a call there. How come we haven't seen one replay ?
Honestly , I am just appalled by everyone. Several times in the tourney players on different teams afraid to take " the big shot ". Here you have a player in control of the ball driving to the rim with 12 sec., trying to win the game . The defensive player not only is not set but is angled to...
Not really, considering you wan a chance at a rebound . Either way, it was great to hear Geno finally mention it at end of presser. I'll leave it at that.
I have no less confidence than I had a few days ago. I find it hard to believe that starting 3 freshman Oregon can either defend or score at the huskies pace. Right now huskies are featuring 5 scorers in the lineup, 3 of them destined for AA status. Yeah , Ducks will try to take air out of ball...
Stanford 22 assists on 28 baskets
Irish 11 assists on 29 baskets, maybe just a little too much one on one in the end. I was not stunned by the end result, but rather how poorly Stanford played defense in the first half.
