The Big 12 isn't what it used to be with Texas and Oklahoma leaving. With both of them leaving, gone are their fans, students and whole crapload of money that BYU, Cincy, UCF and Houston isn't going to or even come close to replacing.
How fitting. Even the article left out players in the Jim O'Brien years. That can be celebrated too. It had a good history before Al Skinner.
Curley, Scoonie, Adams, Bell, Eisley all gave UConn fits when we played them. Dana Barros was one of the better bucket getters of his time.
Odd hiring. It's not like they need better talent or a better xo's guy than Larry Brown whose already on the staff.
They are doing everything not to fire Penny.
The Pistons have a solid core of young guys and if they get Wemby - they could be in contention in a few years.
Cade, Ivey, Duren and Wemby would be a solid core. Wiseman, who they got at the trade deadline, has been putting up some good numbers as well.
I remember someone saying that we were 2-6 when allowing opposing teams with a FG% of 60% or better from inside the 3 pt line. Miami shot almost 66% from 2 pt land vs Texas and shot 28-32 from the charity stripe.
We will need to play tough defense and make them shoot tough shots and I think...
Yeah before we get over confident here, the same coach coached team A over team B. So we're, in fact, doomed.
Team A
6'7" (275)
6'7" (230)
6'4" (205)
6'1" (175)
6'2" (170)
Bench
6'5" (190)
Team B
6'9" (220)
6'3" (205)
6'11" (235)
6'6" (220)
6'10" (235)
Bench
6'7" (243)
6'5" (215)
6'3" (176)
I think he needs to be in the right system with the right coaches in the NBA. Shooting can be worked on. AJax has improved his handle, can run the point and can guard like crazy. If he went to the Spurs, I'd be elated. The Spurs are known to take guys like Bowen, Kwahi and now Jeremy Sochan...
Thanks for the kind words. I've always been a fan of the Razorbacks especially back in the days of 40 minutes of hell and Nolan Richardson, Corliss, Todd Day, Kareem Reid, Stewart, etc. Coach Richardson is a legend and had a good laugh at his HOF speech.
If anyone thinks Sanogo/Clingan will be allowed to plant themselves in the middle of the paint all game, they're mistaken. It's going to be a team defensive effort with help at the rim against the slip and rolls when they draw our bigs out to the 3 point line. There was a few times last game...
