    Andy Katz

Katz is still under contract to ESPN. ESPN is honoring his contract by still paying him. That contract a non-compete clause. ESPN is essentially paying him through the length of his contract to not to work for a competitor. This UConn work does not violate his contract. It keeps him in the...

OT: Can Rutgers do anything right?

Well, Rutgers is always gonna Rutgers because that's what they do. BTW, love the name of the Rutgers U Police Chief. The Rutgers University police chief, who is somehow named Kenneth Cop, said he and his department issued citations to four people. Hobbs apparently arrived as they were being...

CBS Sports: Which School Had the Best 2015-2016 Season in College Sports?

I guess the CR Board is as good a place as any to post this. There's only one G5 school to make the Top 15. Can you guess which one? Not BYU or Cincy or Houston or Memphis or Colorado State. Best in College Sports: Oklahoma beats out North Carolina, Notre Dame in 2015-16

ESPN Ranks All of the NCAA Championship Teams

Basically, that 2004 UConn team did get the 2003 Syracuse squad twice during that season. Tony Robertson was the only senior of note lost off the 2003 Sweet 16 team. The 2003 UConn squad beat Syracuse 75-61 at the Civic Center and 80-67 in the Big East semis in MSG.

Wall St. Journal: How Much Is Your Favorite College Football Team Worth?

And remember, this is just assessing value to UConn's football program (which is rebounding after a few down years under PP). We're not even factoring in the value of the rest of the Athletic Department, which would blow away the value some of those P5 schools that are "inside the club."

Wall St. Journal: How Much Is Your Favorite College Football Team Worth?

Despite what the Dude tells us about value & metrics, UConn ranks higher than many P5 schools like WVU, BC, Pitt, Louisville and Rutgers. We also rank higher than conference mates Cincy, Houston and Temple for what it's worth...

She forgot to mention their non-graduate men's head basketball Eddie Jordan. How could the RU athletic department write an official bio for Jordan claiming he graduated from the school when he didn't? Can't be that hard to confirm this with your own registrars office. (Though to be fair...

    U CONN and Big 10....

I didn't say UVA was the better choice. In fact, I mention VA Tech in my reply to point out that either school would give the SEC Network an foothold in DC and the rest of the VA markets. I've spent a lot of time in VA. Outside of Clemson and FSU, Va Tech provides the most SEC-like game day...

    U CONN and Big 10....

I really don't get this comment. If UVA (or Va Tech) went to the SEC, they'd bring an opening in to the DC market as well as the 4 other TV markets in the Commonwealth. If it's UVA and UNC, it would give the SEC a presence in every one of the southeastern states. The SEC would love to get into...

North Carolina and Virginia may have Big Ten offers

Let's be fair here. I am a Husky, but UVA (and VT for that matter) have a presence in the NoVa/DC market. They also have a major presence in the 44th Market (Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News: 709,730), the aforementioned 57th Market (Richmond-Petersburg: 553,390), the 68th Market...
