Not saying he wouldn't want to, nor that he shouldn't. Just wondering if anyone knows what he actually does. Or if he speaks with Benedict, in an advisor sense. I would be extremely interested in being a fly on the wall for a Calhoun-Benedict conversation about KO now.
Article says its St. Joe, in West Hartford.
The article also mentions that Calhoun wants to continue to work with UConn and David Benedict and Susan Herbst, like he is now.
Can anyone tell me exactly what Calhoun is doing at UConn? Have he and Benedict spoke about our predicament? Does he...
No sweat off my back if you can't grasp that besides Ollie literally killing our program, the conference that we are in will never allow us to be a major player in college basketball again.
You're not the only one.
We need to bring in talent that are in the top 100. Hell we need to bring in top 50 talent. We cannot continue to go to the well of JUCO, transfers, and "barely top 250" guys.
These past 2 recruiting years have NOT boded well.
I am hoping we can connect on 1 2018 guy.
When Ollie came, attendance declined. Thats what your statistics show me. And as UConn, being under 10K a game? C'mon man....who do you think we are? Tulane?
Also- Rutgers and Seton Hall would destroy Tulane or ECU if they ever played each other.
Now you are wrong.
I don't get your argument. People showed up for all games against Big East teams, because they Big East was a great conference. Fans felt a part of something special. If it was Seton Hall, they showed up, because they knew we were getting Georgetown or Syracuse the game after. It was special...
Even with us winning, the attendance would stay the same....look at this BRUTAL home schedule this season. Because of us not winning last year and the schedule- I am anticipating just a truly terrible turnout for this year.
But in all honesty- i don't think winning has much to do with it. Fans...
Not sure what else was needed in the response. Seemed like a "Calhouns way wasn't the best way" type post.
Well JC built a program up from nothing and turned them into a blue blood...out of nowhere. For my money he is the greatest college basketball coach of all time. Coaches just don't do what...
God you continue to whine and whine and whine more. I'm sure that has served you well in your personal life throughout the years. You must have always gotten what you wanted as a child. Go take a nap. I'm done with the theatrics with you. It gives people a headache, which I'm sure you've caused...
Think it's more of the info we are given from the so called sources on this board. They have been 100000% wrong on every recruit this year, and yet people are sent into an absolute frenzy when one of them says "hearing lots of UConn."
For days after that it's celebrating, crystal balls etc...
Your false narratives no longer work with me. Just 4 days ago you sent a thread into a frenzy saying "hearing lots of UConn talk". Then you back track when your wrong saying "well things change." Someone had to say it. You are #FakeNews. This isn't even close to the first time you've done this...
Trust me, I've been buckled in, preparing for an unparalleled UMass rivalry annually as our top OOC game. I sense your cheerleading running thin. Good. We are NOT in good shape as a program. We haven't been for 3 years now.
And your so confident this is going to happen because...?? Like serious where are you people pulling this stuff out from???? AAC champs and a sweet 16 next year?? With this roster??? WTF
Yes yes and yes. These "contacts" that these "sources" have are an absolute joke. And honestly so are th sources. We're losing to Rutgers, St. John's....transfers to lesser schools too. Should NOT be happening. No excuse. Conference, down years etc. we lose a recruit to a Kansas, UNC, UK etc...
Unreal stuff. Can't make this up. Transfers galore, 2* recruits coming to us, and we're getting outworked by Rutgers staff in a semi local top 100 recruit. Amazing.
No....translation...."ESPN doesn't want us anymore to be shown on a national level because of 4 disappointing years."
Could this sound familiar to us after 2 more of these bad seasons???
