You have the traditional broadcast on ESPN, but the Sue/Diana show simulcast on the deuce which is always entertaining. For tournament games I usually play the UConn radio broadcast and sync it to the TV broadcast then I don't have to listen to the national broadcastersjhbn talk about anything...
The question then becomes who retires first. Does Tara feel strongly enough about the record to try and outlast Geno? Will the huge increase in travel for Stanford by joining the ACC affect her decision? Those trips to upstate NY, Pittsburgh, Boston, the Carolinas in winter might just be too much.
Red Sox fans all over the world are cringing. But honestly with all of the drama surrounding other programs it's great to see them having fun and remember they are still college students.
What if rumors of Kara leaving for Tennessee get more traction? I would think that would weigh heavily on her decision. Has she given any indication that she wants to play close to home in NC?
Anyone who saw Jana play for the Egyptian national team knows she is going to be a force in the US college game. She is going to shock people. I wouldn't be surprised if she could have played in January but they held her back so as not to waste a year. We will never know.
1. The refs don't take over and make it about them. Don't call the phantom fouls, must call the actual ones.
2. Keep everyone involved in the offense
3. Strong caffeine drinks to keep me awake. Game won't be over until way past midnight.
1. Get Ash back involved in the offense.
2. Get over the jet lag - obvious from both of the east coast schools. 9:00 tip off might not help
3. Somehow I stay awake for the whole game
FYI HLV has one or she wears a stud - but never in games. I'm just mentioning her because she's popular and there's lots of pictures of them and I'm sure there are hundreds more players but they take them out for games.
You can't convince me St Johns wasn't better than Columbia. Doesn't say much for the Big East when the men and women only get three teams in the tournament and the Ivy gets two in the women's
I watched Megan Duffy's post game interview and thought here is an intelligent, energetic coach that has a lot going for her. Then I watched Kim Mulkey's and had different thoughts. It's hard to believe these two coaches coach the same sport in college at the same level with the same rules.
Between the hair pulling and the brawl the refs, the coaches and the two schools should be ashamed. Maybe in the SEC the players are bigger than the game. What happens if this occurs in a tournament game as I'm sure it will if unchecked.
1. Get Ash back involved in the offense
2. Get Ice some meaningful minutes
3. No injuries
1 and 2 are going to be critical come tourney time, especially playing 2 or 3 days in a row.
You cannot disregard that the league is made up of smaller Catholic Universities which can't compete with larger schools especially larger state institutions. They are not for everybody. With NIL and the transfer portal you are going to see an even larger # transferring out.
When the Big 10 and SEC break off from the NCAA it's going to make all of this irrevelent. If Delaware actually pays the fee they should ask for a refund.
