Todays decision excluding FSU from the CFB playoffs advances the emergence of the P2.

Of course should a northeast conference ever form and start to gain traction, the P4 and ESPN would do everything in their power to kill it, or even keep it from forming in the first place.

Need a northeastern football conference. Penn State, Rutgers and Maryland won't join but after the ACC falls apart a conference might be cobbled together with UConn, BC, Cuse, Temple, Mass, Pitt, Buffalo, Deleware and maybe Army/Navy.

As CFB becomes all about money to attract players we just might be able to fairly quickly rise to heights we would have thought impossible just a few weeks ago. We may not have a lot of D1 talent in CT but we do have a lot of wealth here and with UConn being the only FBS program in the State...

Cellar dwellers of the P4 conferences should be fined $10 million each by the NCAA with the proceeds going (in unequal shares) to the particpants in an 8-team playoff of G5/FBS Independent cellar dwellers.

Wouldn't it be great if some billionaire took an irrational, obsessive interest in seeing if he/she could use their unfathomable fortune to build lowly UConn into a national champion, just to spite all the other billionaires and millionaires supporting the exclusive P4. That's my fantasy.

CFB is rapidly becoming, or has already become, a no-holds barred battle space for muti-millionaires and billionaires supporting their alma maters or favorite team. We are headed towards nuclear war in CFB. We need a T. Boone Pickens caliber whale to build up our nuclear arsenal. Do we have one?

Just made my first contribution to the D'Amelio collective. Can't say I'm a big fan of NIL, but if this is the way it is now, I guess I have to do my part, in addition to going to the games. With all the money there is in this State, if the fans and corporations really get behind NIL, who knows...

Hate to say it but I feel the same way. We just don't move the ball or score enough and the D is vulnerable on the back end, partly due to lack of a pass rush.

I like the idea of a rivalry weekend but "The U Game(s)" is too blah. And I don't hear it used much if at all in reference to the football rivalry. Maybe its more of a basketball thing.
