Thank you for the great analysis. I agree. But what is bothering me to no end is the fact that the Selection Committee royally screwed UConn. Why packing all those teams for the overall number1 seed.
The bracket was set and done, so we will play whatever is in front of us. But that did not changed the fact that that the Selection Committee royally screwed UConn. Earning the overall seed should be rewarded with the easiest bracket not the hardest bracket. It's as simple as that. Why?
As much as it pains me to post this, the truth is we are outcoached and outplayed. McDermott had a fantastic game plan with great execution from his players and bench. They were raining 3s. Once Karaban and Spencer were taken out and Clingan in foul trouble, the game was practically over. Newton...
Hey Kemba Time, I love your post. But I beg to differ. No doubt, tomorrow game is a big one but before the BE regular season is over we will play Marquette again at their home court in March. Who knows, if during the BE tournament we will play Marquette again. Regardless, IMHO the NCAA...
Thanks for posting this. Not sure if fatigue is a factor. UConn played in an early game vs Indiana and won fairly easily. Texas had a tough game and only squeaked by with the last shot. That could take some mental and physical wear. Our back court match well with theirs. I think it's coming down...
I disagree. HCJM is stating the fact that for the FB program to be relevant a move to a P5 conference will help recruiting. Mora and staff are recruiting at best they can. There was no excuse nor complain, just facts.

The discussion about money, TV money, exit fee etc... are being handled by the people responsible. No doubt it's being looked at at every angle. As a BB fan , most probable would like to stay in the BE. As a UConn athletic fan, football fan, why would anybody want to stay independent instead as...
As of this morning 6/9/2023 twitter rumors are a b12 invite is imminent for UConn to join as a full member. The BE stay or go have been discussed ad infinitum so people have pretty much made up their mind. IMHO, if and when a b12 invite comes, UConn will accept the offer. As a BB fan, this a a...
It's a really tough choice for UConn administrators. Leaving the BE costs about $30 millions exit fee. Stay in BE and the football program will be an independent and no where to go. UConn athletics is +50 millions in the red already. Frankly as a BB fan I just think joining the B12 is the way to...
This is a most interesting thread. Thank you oldude for starting this thread. As a UConn fan I hope that this season will be injuries free and the most exciting yet. I felt cheated as others did for not being able to watch PB play last season in addition to Azzi missing many games. So with great...
All the talk about Ms. Bueckers undeniable talent, IMHO she is a greater human being for helping the underprivileged, i.e. food for the hungry children in her Minnesota home town.
Nothing but admiration and respect for Adama Sanogo. Thank you for the NC, I will root for you wherever and whatever you do. Hopefully the visa issue will be resolved one way or another. Good luck and best wishes.
Good luck and best wishes Alleyne to wherever you might land. You were an integral part of UConn 5th NC and that's something that nobody can take away from you. To be honest I never saw this coming, totally surprised.
