You are probably right. I was just guessing on the NE collegiate league, for Danello, as many UConn players, not ready for the Cape league go...
Too bad for Daniello. Usually the biggest gains are between frosh & soph seasons. I would assume he was ticketed for the N.E. Collegiate league.
Thanks for the info. At this point it's at least a no lose situation for UConn. Hopefully, according to your info, it becomes a big win for UConn.
knowing this half baked league they probably had Rutgers & Louisville mail in votes.
Agreed, plus Austin was our fall back recruit after losing out on XRM. That probably stood out to him and was the other reason he went elsewhere....
Sorry, major brainfart, I should have posted Isaiah Briscoe.
Isaac Austin from N.J. likes UConn's style a lot. He does, however, wish to go somewhere warm.
Charmed!!! I'm sure!!!
It's funny, Lunardi doesn't include Providence in next years tourney. Doesn't have them in 1st four out, or, even the next four out. At least UMess...
Good schedule. What happens, however, when we can't beat URI, Northeastern, or Yale, when we play the Gators down there? Next years team, depending...
I su.ppose it's better than Buffalo. But, 2 for one at best. Few fans of either team will travel to Foxboro. I believe they averaged 12K there this...
Well, a UConn grad is commissioner of the new BE, and the new AAC. Is anyone thrilled as to where we all are? If God were commish of the BE over...
Bear in mind Ricky Moore is from Georgia with numerous contacts there.
Don't forget Brima will be entering his soph year. Somehow, I don't think he is as raw as most people feel. I believe he'll help some his frosh...
More important, Facey & Brima seemings they will all be in Storrs in July/Aug
UConn is a basketball school first, nobody denies this. One of the many reasons UConn went the D-1 football route was to save basketball. Lew...
Did Penders leave, too, or was it just the assistants? One can judge what Penders feels about his teams. Two years ago we received a weekly "Catching...
Sometimes we need to mask the "cow" thing. L.A. kids might just think we are a hillbilly college. It has turned a few off, just as it has...
We are losing in the BE big time. We need to get a few wins to set the tempo for next year. This year's team is young. But, with Mazilli & Ferriter...
Just remember, 4 short years ago Bazz was our April/May recruit when we were hoping for Knight, Selby, the other Lamb etc. Worked out well for us....
Aso, a thread regarding a potential recruit's religion, regarding where he will go to college, turned into a religious three page thread. Whatever...
We are 7th in the BE. The top 8 teams qualify for the tourney. My guess is we need to take 2 of three in Rutgers. Then, win at least 1 game vs...
Channel 8 did a feature on Milone last week. Baseball America lists him among the top 50 HS players. Several scouts attending his game(s). He said he...
Keep us posted as game tracker isn't working
Let's keep our fingers crossed. I can't imagine any other scenario than him coming back, but, you never know.
8-6 UConn bottom of 8th, 2 down for Bryant. Mahoney pitching
UConn scored 3 in the 1st. Siena & Melley drove in runs with singles. Jolin is on the hill.
We are down 3-1 in the top of the 4th. Coletti is pitching. Can't lose to UMass.
Just don't put the UMass-Lowell type games in the XL center. We don't need games where 5,000 show up in a 16,000 seat arena.
It's possible we could visit Washington, and host Stanford, then the following year visit Stanford. This gives us west coast trips in consecutive...
Ward's career at UConn has been a constant series of injuries. Obviously, it has hurt his development. He was considered a MLB high draft prospect in...
We have had big fielding problems at 3rd since Olt left. Next year Siena will be moved to 2nd. Hopefully Sullivan can handle 3rd at this level.
This kid is transferring out of CCSU. Supposedly is a high D-1 talent. Anybody know where he's headed? He could be good enough to start for UConn,...
Lunardi has Providence as 1st 4 out. I thought they were supposed to pass us out!!!
For UConn hockey to succeed we need to build a 4,000+ seat, on campus facility like QU did. Games at the XL center will be played before 13,000 empty...
