Weekly Recruiting Update, 8/27

Class of 2014:

Terry Larrier (SF): He cut his list down to six school on Monday. His new list was UConn, Florida State, Florida, VCU, Seton Hall, and Miami. Per Alex Kline. He said that UConn was most likely going to be receiving a visit from him next week. Per Rivals. He is expected to visit UConn this Tuesday. Per Dom Amore.

Paul White (PF): He also cut his list down on Monday. His list was down to five schools and he will be officially visiting all of them. Here are the five schools in order of their official visits: Arizona (Sept. 6-8), Georgetown (Sept. 12-16), UConn (Sept. 27-29), Minnesota (Oct. 4-6 ) and DePaul (Oct. 25-27). Sam Cassell Jr. (PG): He was originally committed to Maryland for the class of 2013 but he was rules academically ineligible. He is doing a JUCO year this year and will have three years of college eligibility beginning in 2014. He has two visits set up to Marquette and Missouri. However, he is also considering UConn, Pittsburgh, Florida State, West Virginia, Texas A&M, Xavier, and USC. Per Adam Zagoria.

Goodluck Okonoboh (C): He cut his list to five schools this past week and UConn was not on it. Per Adam Finkelstein.

Josh Perkins (PG): He cut his list down to three school and UConn was not one of the. Per Evan Daniels. This was not surprising after he decided to not officially visit.

Abdul Malik-Abu (PF): He decided to unofficially visit UConn on Wednesday instead of during the weekend. Per Coast 2 Coast Hoops. He will officially visit the school he commits to sometime after he commits on September 7th. Per Rivals. He will be committing on September 7th at 3pm. Per his AAU program.

Chinanu Onuaku (C): He officially visited Louisville this past weekend. However, UConn, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, and Georgetown are high on his list. Per his high school coach.

Devin Robinson (SF): He cut his list down to five schools on Friday. The remaining five are UConn, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Florida, and Indiana. Per himself. Right. Ow he only had two official visits scheduled. They are to OK State and Indiana. Per Adam Zagoria.

Kelly Oubre (SF): He has an official visit set up to Kansas and is going to visit Kentucky and Florida officially. His other two visits are undetermined right now. Per Scout.

Bonzie Colson (PF): He has set up official visits to Notre Dame, Miami, and Pittsburg. He is also considering UConn, Temple, George Washington, Florida State, Georgetown, and Minnesota. Per Adam Finkelstein.

Quentin Snider (PG): He picked up an offer from Michigan State. They are also now trying to plan a visit to Michigan State at some point. Per Steve Jones. He also is planning on signing early but will sign late if he hasn’t decided on a school yet. Per Ben Roberts.

Paschal Chukwu (C): He officially visited St. Joes this past weekend and is going to be committing very soon. However, St. Joes and Providence are the front runners. Per Coast 2 Coast Hoops.

 

Class of 2015:

Chance Comanche (C): He listed offers from UConn, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and USC. He also said that he wants to wait until at least his senior year to commit anywhere. Per Rivals.

Carlton Bragg (PF): He received an offer from UConn this past week. Per Adam Zagoria.

Ivan Rabb (PF): At the Elite 24 he listed offers from UConn, Arizona, California, UNLV, UNC, Texas, N.C. State, UCLA, Kansas, USC, and Oregon. Per Brian Flinn.
