Weekly Recruiting Update, 8/12

Class of 2014:

Jared Terrell (SG): He was down to ten school but cut his list to four. UConn was not on his list of four. Per HoopsDreamsMag.

Abdul Malik-Abu (PF): He also cut his list down to four schools. This time UConn made the cut. Also on the list was Providence, Florida, and NC State. Per HoopsDreamsMag. He will be unofficially visiting next Wednesday and committing in the first week of September. Per Scout.

Terry Larrier (SF): He cut his list down to ten schools and UConn made the cut. Also on the list is Penn State, Marquette, Minnesota, Florida State, Miami, St. John’s, VCU, Florida, and Seton Hall. He is planning on visiting in August. Per Adam Zagoria.

Myles Turner (C): He cut his list down to eight schools and UConn did not make the cut. Per Reggie Rankin.

Jabari Craig (C): He was offered this past week. Per his AAU coach.

Paschal Chuckwu (C): He and his guardian did an interview for the first time in a long time. They said that Paschal will be cutting his list down to eight or ten schools on the coming weeks. He also is committed to an official visit at St. Joe’s. Per Rivals. It would be a shock if he didn’t have UConn on his cut list.

Tyler Ulis (PG): He cut his list down to four schools on Thursday and UConn didn’t make the cut. Per Joe Henricksen.

Quadri Moore (C): He cut his list down to five schools and it didn’t have UConn. Per himself. He never received an offer from UConn.

James Blackmon Jr. (SG): He is another de-commitment, this time from Indiana, that received a UConn offer in the past two weeks. Per his father. However, Kentucky also offered and looks to be the clear leader because his father played there in college.

 

Class of 2015:

Rex Flueger (SG): He received an offer from UConn this past week. Per his AAU coach.

Jalen Adams (PG): He now has offers from UConn, Providence, URI, Kansas St, and Minnesota. Per NERR.

Malachi Richardson (SG): He said UConn, Indiana, Arizona, Georgetown, Ohio State and Villanova are recruiting him the hardest. Per VUHoops.
