UConn #117 in ESPN Poll

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about UConn Football.  Life kinda gets in the way.  And when this team is 2-10 and just depressing the living hell out of you week after week, one doesn’t really have much to say about it.  So I won’t rehash what happened this past season, it’s been beaten to death by our fanbase already.  2014 is over, let’s move on to 2015.

For Bob Diaco’s second year, nobody is expecting us to do anything positive on the field.  We don’t know who our QB is, we lost our best offensive player to the NFL, and we brought in a less than impressive recruiting class (according to national recruiting sites – NOT ME).  So, seeing us so low in a poll like this should be no surprise.  Granted, these polls mean nothing, they’re sole purpose is to generate discussion and give people reasons to talk college football.  But, here it is, take what you will from it.  The first link gives you an explination as to what FPI is.  The second link has the actual rankings.

Again, take what you will from this.  My Take: We have nowhere to go but up.
