Clarke Talks Visit

“It was an amazing visit. I loved every second of it,” was what 2015 SF Chris Clarke had to say on his visit. Chris took his official visit to UConn September 5th-7th with C Djery Baptiste. It looks like coach Ollie and his staff left a very good impression on Chris going into his other visits to Creighton, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee in the coming weeks.

Before taking his visit Clarke said he was really interested in UConn because of how UConn has been very successful and the education at UConn is great. After the visit the one thing he mentioned he liked the most, “I got to see the whole campus and all the facilities. I love the facilities.” The brand new state of the art practice facility has been getting rave reviews by recruits and Chris is another player that loved what he saw. It will definitely be a big help to Ollie’s recruiting pitch from here on out.

The talented small forward out of Virginia also talked about what people were telling him on campus. “Coach said he loved my game and I would be a great fit and play immediately. Rodney and the rest of the team said they loved it there.” The brotherhood effect on this team helped them win a championship this past year and get a blue chip recruit last year, Daniel Hamilton.

It certainly seems as if Chris Clarke really enjoyed his visit in Storrs and coach Ollie paid a visit to his school the first day he could this month. UConn should definitely be in it until the end with Clarke.
